ARTIST INSPIRATION

If these paintings were part of a collection I think I might of titled the whole group "Thin Places." That seems to be where I live these days. Trying to walk the tight rope of caring for myself, my boys, relationships, and maintain a life and business. It isn't quite so harmonious some (most) days. 

 While painting each of these works my goal was to fill. them. up.! No one singular layer, but to have every inch of these canvas covered with layers and layers of paint and texture. 

 Something about the fullness and layered story to each painting feels so kindred to the way I am experiencing the world these days. Life is so full and abundant and simultaneously feels like all too much.

 I hope these pieces honor your experience as well and create openness to the duality of both the chaos and beauty making up your days and weeks.
